When you sign up, we collect your name, email, and any ZIP code or interests you choose to add. When you list an item, we store the photos, title, description, price, and location you provide. Messages and trade offers are stored so you and the other party can access them.
2. What's Public
Your listings — including photos, title, price, and city — are visible to anyone browsing the marketplace. Your email is shared with another user only when you message them or send a trade offer. Your password is never shared or displayed.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your information to run the marketplace: showing your listings, surfacing matches, delivering messages, and keeping the platform safe. We may use your ZIP code and interests to show you nearby or relevant items.
4. What We Don't Do
We don't sell your personal data to third parties. We don't use your photos for anything beyond displaying your listings. We never post on your behalf without your action.
5. Messages & Trade Offers
Conversations and trade offers are visible to the participants involved. We may review content if a report is filed, to keep the community safe.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and the app working. We may use basic analytics to understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
7. Your Choices
You can edit your profile, update your ZIP code and interests, or delete your listings at any time. You can sign out to end your session. Contact support if you'd like your account data removed.
8. Data Retention
We keep your listings, messages, and trade offers for as long as your account is active. When you delete a listing, it's removed from the marketplace. Deleted conversations may be retained briefly for safety reviews.
9. Children
No Longer Need It is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service grows. We'll do our best to notify users of material changes.
