Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Using No Longer Need It
No Longer Need It is a peer-to-peer marketplace that helps people sell, trade, and give away items they no longer need. You agree to use the service lawfully and treat other users with respect. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and don't impersonate anyone else.
3. Listings & Transactions
You're responsible for the accuracy of your listings — including photos, descriptions, and condition. No Longer Need It is a platform only; we are not a party to any transaction between users. You arrange payment, shipping, and handoffs directly with the other person. We never hold funds.
4. Fees
Listing and trading on No Longer Need It is free. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but core listing and trading will always be free.
5. Prohibited Items
Don't list anything illegal, stolen, hazardous, or that you don't have the right to sell. This includes weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, and regulated items.
6. Safety
You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other users. Meet in public places, inspect items before paying, and never wire money to someone you don't know. Read our safety guidelines for more.
7. Content & Photos
You grant us a license to display the content and photos you upload as part of running the marketplace. Don't upload content that infringes someone else's rights.
8. Limitation of Liability
No Longer Need It is provided 'as is.' We are not liable for the outcome of any transaction, the accuracy of any listing, or any interaction between users. Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Termination
We may suspend or remove accounts or listings that violate these terms or that we believe are harmful to the community. You can delete your listings at any time.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the service grows. We'll do our best to notify users of material changes.
